Lincoln Castle dating from 1068, houses the "Magna Carta", sealed by King John in 1215. The medieval ramparts give magnificent views over Lincoln.
Castle Square at the top of "Steep Hill" links together the Cathedral and the Castle. The Tourist Information Centre is to be found here.
Steep Hill. Many fine specialist shops line the cobbled streets, including boutiques, antique, craft, book and gift shops.Also to be found on Steep Hill is "The Jew's House", the oldest Norman House in England.
High Bridge dating back to 1160. The medieval timber building is the only surviving building on a bridge in the Country, known as the "Glory Hole" it spans the River Witham.
