Many differing Market Towns, we only mention a few:
- Louth, "Capital of the Wolds" a gem of a Georgian Market Town. St James's Church boasts the tallest spire of any church in the Country.
- Horncastle - Awarded 'The Miller's Guide' title of 'Best Antiques Town' in the Country
- Spilsby - Birthplace of Sir John Franklin, the explorer
- Alford - The Manor House Museum displays "Lincolnshire Life" in days gone by. The Five Sailed working Windmill and Craft Markets feature strongly.
- Boston - famous for 'The Stump', the tallest tower on any English Parish Church. The Guildhall tells the story of "The Pilgrim Father's".
- Spalding - bulb growing centre of the country, famous for its annual Spring Flower Parade. Ayscoughfee Hall, Museum and Garden close by the River Welland is a good starting point.
- Stamford - the finest stone built town in England.

There are numerous sleepy villages waiting to be explored such as:
- Tealby
- Old Bolingbroke
- Donington on Bain
- Navenby
- Deeping St James
- Scopwick
- Woodhall Spa
Don't forget about including those in the part of "The Wolds" known as "Tennyson Country".
