Introducing the Tastes of Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire people feel strongly about their food and are justifiably proud of the county's tradition of producing the finest produce.
The new quality branding mark - Tastes of Lincolnshire - represents all that is best in our local food and drink.
It identifies the restaurants, hotels, B&B's, tea-rooms, pubs and shops throughout the county who believe in the quality of Lincolnshire produce and want to put it on their menus.
Lincolnshire has featured frequently on Rick Stein's Food Heroes with Eric Phipps' 'stuffed chine' from his shop at Mareham Le Fen voted Britain's Best Butcher by Country Life Magazine. as was the auction at Louth Market , selling local produce by the bunch or bucketful, sometimes pounds but not kilos!
Rachel Green is Taste of Lincolnshire's champion and can be seen demonstrating at many of our Food Fairs promoting Lincolnshire produce. She is regularly seen on TV and had her own series 'The Flying Chef' and 'World on a Plate.'
